I am looking for suggestions on how to help others recover in a clinical therapeutic environment who have experienced this. What training would be best considering the spiritual rebuilding needed. I have and continue to heal from my experiences and I want to dedicate my life to educating and helping others who have experienced trauma pain as a result of this evil disorder.

JD, thank you for commenting, as well as your motivation to help others…

I’m not sure a clinical environment is inducive to the spiritual aspect of healing. Mainly because much of the spiritual healing is religious or metaphysical in nature, and those elements aren’t really addressed in a clinical setting. I do think traditional therapy is necessary to help overcome depression, low self-esteem, PTSD, C-PTSD, and other conditions brought on by emotional/Narcissistic abuse, but traditional therapy doesn’t really offer a framework for spiritual healing. However, you might do well to offer both if you’re interested in becoming licensed. You’d just need to look to other methods to address the spiritual angle.

I would recommend doing research on both approaches and go with whichever one feels natural to you. It may take a little while to decide, but you’ll know the answer when it’s time. Hope that helps <3
